This summer has been a busy one as we have been working away on conservation projects, educational programs and multimedia outreach, including our cell phone tours. We are happy to announce that this winter we will be expanding our “Nature at Your Fingertips” winter trails cell phone tour across all of Chautauqua County. Development of this tour was made possible in part through support from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. We are very excited to be working with all five county snowmobile clubs as their trails traverse through a number of fascinating natural history locations as well as many sites of historical significance. With their help, the tour will highlight 25 sites this snowmobiling season and updated signs will be erected at each tour stop. More updates will be posted as the winter gets closer and snowmobile trails open for the season. Think snow!
Tour signs will look very similar to this but will have a new logo representing all the snowmobile clubs of Chautauqua County.
