Our friends at the Conewango Creek Watershed Association (CCWA) successfully nominated Conewango Creek as Pennsylvania River of the Year in a program run by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. River of the Year is determined by public vote and they have now taken the lead in voting, sitting in first place! But we need your help to keep them there for another week. If the Conewango Creek wins, CCWA will receive a $10,000 grant to celebrate the stream and year round events will be held to do just that. Conewango Creek will receive state wide publicity from DCNR and be featured on a poster that will distributed across the state as well.
