Here’s Audubon Connecticut’s Patrick Comins talking to a great group of attendees at the Connecticut Ornithological Association shorebird identification workshop this past Saturday in Milford, Connecticut. He and Sean Graesser led them into the field to find some uncommon species including Red Knot and the Western subspecies of Willet. These types of education and conservation events are all part of what we contribute to as a part of the Audubon Alliance for Coastal Waterbirds throughout the northeast.
