Please join us at RTPI or at SUNY JCC’s Jamestown Campus for these three events coming up in the next few days. All of them are great opportunities for learning about out region, nature, conservation, science, art, biology, natural history and more. Best of all these are all free and open to the public. We hope to see you there – times three!

“The State of Jamestown’s Waterways and their Surrounding Habitats” – September 24, 2014
A lecture presented by John Jablonski, Executive Director of the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy, and Twan Leenders, President of the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History, on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Weeks Reception Hall on SUNY JCC’s Jamestown Campus. This event is free and open to the public.

September Speaker Series: Jen Moore on bats – September 25, 2014
Jen Moore, Environmental Education Specialist from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, will speak on “Bats & White-nose Syndrome”, September 25 at 6:00PM. See more information here on our Speaker Series page.

Smithsonian Museum Day – September 27, 2014
In the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, who offer free admission every day, Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket…for free. Only an official Museum Day Live! ticket is eligible for free entry. Official tickets can be found here on the Museum Day Live! website soon, stay tuned.
