In the spirit of fun, and the opening of the National Comedy Center, The Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History (RTPI) invites you back to celebrate ‘Art After 5’ from 5:00 – 7:00pm on Thursday, August 2nd. This event will feature live music on our patio by local musician Landon Gray, beverages catered by Bag and String Wine Merchants, light refreshments, and brief tours of the summer exhibition, “Roger Tory Peterson; The Life, The Work, The Legacy”, all for a $10 donation.
“This is a great opportunity for visitors to view our exhibition while enjoying music and refreshments in the company of friends and colleagues”, says Jane Johnson, Director of Exhibits and Special Collections. “Bring your favorite bird or nature joke, laugh, and celebrate Roger Tory Peterson’s hometown with us!” added RTPI’s Director of Development, Linda Pierce.
The ‘Art After 5’ art and music series will continue rain or shine, and is exclusively for guests ages 21 and over. All donations benefit RTPI’s general operations and programming.
