Roger Tory Peterson Institute receives Travel Grant Funding

The Roger Tory Peterson Institute (RTPI) is pleased to announce the receipt of a Travel Grant that allowed staff members Jane Johnson and Linda Pierce to attend a conference at the Corning Museum of Glass, April 12-14, presented by the Museum Association of New York (MANY). This Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor) is a real head-turner! Yes, I will be here all week, every week…but did you know these gals and guys are still expanding their range northward? Back in my grandfather’s (and Roger Tory Peterson’s) day in they were very rare in New York and New England.
