RTPI is pleased to present artist Alberto Rey’s Extinct Birds Project exhibition this fall. The new exhibit will be featured at RTPI from August 17th – December 14th and will include 18 original works by the artist. The Project also includes a new book by Rey, along with programming in partnership with RTPI. RTPI’s Project Wild America (PWA) Youth Ambassadors are a cohort of high school and college students who have been recruited to work alongside RTPI biologists for the summer, exploring, recording, and bragging about the diversity of wildlife that thrives in Jamestown’s urban habitats. RTPI will host a ‘Peterson Field Guide Party’ on Wednesday, June 6th from 5:00 – 7:00pm. Peterson field guides have been best sellers since the first edition of A Field Guide to the Birds was created by Roger Tory Peterson in 1934.
