This is the final week to see From Field to Frame by Michael DiGiorgio at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History in Jamestown, New York as the exhibition ends on Thursday, February 25. We are back to our regular hours and hope that you stop in at RTPI today, tomorrow or Thursday. Fox Tracks

These tracks in the wind blown snow belong to the Red Fox, with some steps sinking in and others being light enough to stay on the surface. New York State Young Birders Club visits RTPI

This past Sunday, July 20, the New York State Young Birders Club visited us at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History. Thanks to the assistance of our friend and supreme naturalist Tim Baird we were able to arrange a visit of several young birders in order to target some of the fantastic and conservation concern grassland species that can be found here in Chautauqua County.
