RTPI will host a ‘Peterson Field Guide Party’ on Wednesday, June 6th from 5:00 – 7:00pm. Peterson field guides have been best sellers since the first edition of A Field Guide to the Birds was created by Roger Tory Peterson in 1934. RTPI’s current exhibit, “Roger Tory Peterson: The Life, The Work, The Legacy,” features stories about Peterson’s life and work, as well as original paintings, artifacts, memorabilia and personal effects from the Peterson Collection.
