RTPI Winter Hours The Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History starts its winter hours next week when we will be open to the public: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00am-4:00pm Sundays from 1:00-5:00pm RTPI is still available to be used for special requests, and we offer space for meetings and events. This year marks the fourth iteration of RTPI’s “Nature at Your Fingertips” cell phone tour! Once again we are working closely with the snowmobile clubs of Chautauqua County to make this project happen, and our friends at Orbitist have added several new features to the platform making it even easier to navigate through the county’s many unique stories and landmarks. With last weekend’s storm marking the region’s first winter blast, many are ready to head south while the rest of us are getting prepared for the hopes of a snowy season.
